Nebiant Analytics awards scholarships at Flagship AI event

Nebiant Analytics has positioned itself as a key player in fostering tech talents as it awarded scholarships at its flagship event, themed, “Becoming a Tech Talent byHarnessing Analytics and AI,” which was held in Lagos at the weekend.

The event, which saw a participant, Jimoh Olamilekan, clinch a scholarship worth ₦320,000 to study Data Analytics at Nebiant Analytics’ academy, also had 52 attendees win free LinkedIn optimization training sessions to enhance their LinkedIn profiles and boost their online presence, thereby increasing opportunities for networking and career advancement.

Speaking at the event, the Chief Executive Officer of Nebiant Analytics, Lemuel Yole-Odior, while sharing her inspirational journey, revealed that she began her entrepreneurial endeavours at the tender age of 13 and over time, developed a profound vision to elevate tech education in Africa, particularly aiming to empower women in the tech industry.

She added that her drive stems from witnessing the transformative power of technology and education in her own life after seeing firsthand how access to quality tech education can break barriers and create opportunities.

She said, “We have a vision to foster a new generation of tech giants who can lead Africa into a future of innovation and technological advancement. We recognize the gender disparities in the tech field and are passionate about providing both men and women; young and old, with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed in this rapidly evolving industry.”

The event featured other keynote speakers such as Chief Executive Officer of Treford, Harry Enaholo; Founder, of Fushure Consulting, Yole Odior; Co-Founder, of PASSE Marketing Firm, Peter Ebuka Agbo; Chief Operating Officer, of Nebiant Analytics, Muhammad Suleman; and Data Analyst at Flutterwave, Oyesanmi Vincent Omoboye (jr).

The Founder, of Fushure Consulting, Yole Odior, while speaking during a panel session on the theme of the event, noted that there was a need for new entrants into tech to harness data analytics and artificial intelligence tools. www.nebiant.com

According to him, Artificial Intelligence, being a self-learning and self-improvement technology, plays a crucial role in this process of assisting new entrants into the tech world.

He noted that an easy way to optimise mail sent to people is by using “If” and “What If” statements, as this would optimize communication by tailoring messages to different situations or recipients, making the emails more personalized and engaging.

On his part, the Co-Founder, of PASSE Marketing Firm, Peter Ebuka Agbo, stated that visibility was just as important as skills while emphasizing the need for participants to see platforms like LinkedIn as more than just a social media platform.

He said, “The way you see LinkedIn determines what it really means to you and how it affects your life. If you see LinkedIn as a social media platform, it will always remain a social media platform to you. You need to leverage LinkedIn by understanding your niche, being intentional about what you post, and being
consistent.”
