Meta is expected to land two submarine cables in Nigeria; one in Lagos and another in Akwa Ibom before the end November, according to Abdullahi Kashifu, Director General of the National Information Technology Development of Nigeria (NITDA).
Kashifu was speaking on Friday at the Global Tech Africa conference organised by the Future Map Founation and sponsored by the US Consulate.

The DG said the submarine cables landing in Nigeria is part of the government’s efforts to boost digital infrastructure in the country and and grow broadband penetration.
