LG Electronics has rolled out a Ramadan campaign in Nigeria combining community outreach with customer promotions, as it seeks to deepen ties with consumers during the Muslim holy month.

The company said it is hosting Iftar meals in mosques and community centres across major cities under its “Share The Life’s Good” initiative, providing food for Muslims breaking their fast and supporting communal gatherings.

Ramadan, observed by Muslims worldwide, is marked by fasting, prayer and acts of charity. Companies in Nigeria often use the period to engage customers through philanthropy and marketing campaigns.

Hyoung Sub Ji, LG’s managing director, said the initiative reflects the values of unity and compassion associated with the season.

“Ramadan is a sacred period marked by prayer, fasting and reflection. It brings people closer and reinforces the importance of kindness and community,” he said.

Alongside the outreach, the company is running a promotional campaign offering household appliances, shopping vouchers and other gift items to customers who purchase its products during the period.

Moses Osime, the company’s public relations and corporate social responsibility manager, said the activities also include in-store engagements and special gatherings for customers and business partners.

He added that the firm is using digital platforms and collaborations with food influencers to share recipes and promote the use of its kitchen appliances for meal preparation during fasting.
