HP, the tech solution giant, has launched a new printer model to enhance productivity among small and medium-sized businesses. The launch of the HP Laserjet Tank printers including the 1500, 1600, 2500, and 2600 models in Nigeria is heralded by a need to boost productivity, connectivity and security for customers in the Nigerian Market while also considering affordability.
Emmanuel Asika, Country Head, HP Nigeria and Omni-Channel Manager HP Africa Central and East (ACE), said “We acknowledge that businesses have challenges and are facing tough times, and one of the things that would separate businesses that succeed from those that would fail are the innovations they make”.
“We are coming up with groundbreaking innovations so that we can position businesses to do better. We are also asking the customers and partners to look at affordability differently. It may require some initial upfront investment, but over the lifespan of this product, you get significant savings. After your first 5,000 pages from the box of this printer, when you buy a refill and you want to get 50,000 pages, you will have saved 500%.
It is an affordability metric that we are asking customers and partners to look at. So, instead of looking at what you save now, you look at what you save over time,” he explained.

The new printer has in its portfolio an easy toner refill with Original HP Toner, 15-second self-refill with high-quality toner, less intervention with Toner Reload kits, and over 75% plastic reduction.
With automatic two-sided printing and a 40-page automatic document feeder, you can save time and increase productivity.
The printer also boasts of a self-reset dual-band Wi-Fi and BTLE, making it easy to stay connected and get more done from anywhere using the HP Smart app.

Given the significant growth of small and medium-sized businesses recently, HP’s latest innovations and intuitive features in the LaserJet Tank series better support the next generation of entrepreneurs and business owners by reducing cost while maintaining value. Also, these products, in design and printing technology, are designed to meet two factors that HP sees as important, the hybrid work environment and the emergence of sustainability.
HP believes that corporate offices are already shrinking to less than 50 per cent of their current size as the world tilts towards a hybrid set-up. It is therefore imperative to prepare for the demands of increased productivity in both IT and business, and for this reason, HP has concentrated on preventive maintenance, ease of installation, and features for remote management.
