The world of millennials is ever evolving, even as the wants of individuals in this category remains unpredictable. Tech innovation has to constantly keep up to the pace of the demands. Lately, we have seen PC sizes shrunk to the length of a thumb and Hewlett-Packard Nigeria Limited has added the world’s smallest all-in-one printer – the HP Deskjet 3700 series to the growing list of digital innovation.

With Dimensions 425mm x 177.8 mm x 137 mm (WxDxH) and volume of 9.79 x 106  cubic millimetres, the deskjet laser printer is the same length as a 5-inch android phone. The printer’s portability and high mobility makes it ideal for customers mostly in the millennial brackets according to Ify Afe, the managing director, HP Nigeria. The managing director disclosed this during a live demo in Lagos recently. Describing why the millennials were the primary target, she pointed out that among other things, people in the bracket want to be connected. They also desire the best deals; they want self-expression and they want innovations that fit into their lifestyle.

“Consumers crave tiny, wireless devices that fit into their lifestyle that will enable them to stay connected, social and productive wherever they may be. “HP’s new Deskjet turns the traditional consumer printing experience on its head with its innovative, fun design and intuitive mobile connectivity from virtually  and device or social network,” Afe said.

Among its features is the ability it gives the consumer to integrate their social media life with reality. Users can print photos directly from their mobile phones within OS solutions and the printer’s mobile application called eprint. In other words, photos on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest etc can now be printed.
