Global Infoswift gains recognition for preeminent digital banking solutions

ATM-Machine

Global Infoswift, an omni-channel banking software and solutions company that uses CR2’s world class technology system, has been recognised by Celent, a leading research and advisory firm focused on technology for financial institutions globally for its cutting edge automated teller machine (ATM) and digital banking tech solutions deployed in Nigerian banks.

The CR2 partner which has been providing solutions and services to financial institutions in Nigeria for over 10 years, says it is determined to provide the same seamless services both online and offline.

According to the company, customers should be able to perform the same banking operations whether through a website, mobile app, call centre, bank branch or any other channel. The company has successfully implemented this with AccessBank in Nigeria.

Afolabi Oke, managing director, Global Infoswift, said; “Omni-channel solutions are required to drive the financial inclusion initiative of the Central Bank of Nigeria, and with COVID-19, we need to use digital channels more.”

Speaking at a virtual conference recently, Oke revealed that Global InfoSwift has strong links to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) like, NCR, DIEBOLD, WINCOR, HYOSUNG and CR2, provider of the world most robust channel manager solution.

“We partner with other foreign companies when necessary. Over the years, we have been actively involved in the Nigeria market working with multiple third party ATM resellers, banking institutions and support service organisations on all ATM models,” he said.

CR2 was also named as a Top Performer in the global edition of Celent’s report titled; ‘The Modern Digital Banking Channels Platform: Who Delivers? 2020.”

According to Celent, the functional scope of CR2’s platform is broader than most, with demonstrable capabilities in customer onboarding and sales optimisation, as well as support across the retail business and corporate lines of business.

Oke noted that another differentiator for CR2 is the native money management capabilities.

“In some of the markets where CR2 is operational, specialist PFM vendors may not reach the critical mass required to invest in the local market. And for this reason, native money management is particularly important,” he said.

In addition to ATM, kiosk, PoS, internet and mobile, bankworld offers a card management system, which provides acquiring services for complete settlement and reconciliation with international and/or domestic card schemes.
