Apple CEO Tim Cook said the company has more innovations up its sleeve, hinting that the Cupertino-based vendor could launch different versions of the iPhone and stating that it will increasingly open up iOS to third-party technology. In a wide-ranging interview at an All Things Digital conference, Cook said: “I think we have several more game-changers in us. We have some incredible plans that we’ve been working on for a while.” Although the company has previously focused on getting a single iPhone model right, Cook said it could take the same route as it did with the iPod by developing different versions to meet various customer needs: “The question is, are we now at a point to serve enough people that we need to [provide more iPhone models]?”
