This year’s edition of Nigerian Breweries sponsored musical show, Star Trek, promises to be different from previous editions as more interesting artistes have been signed on.
Last week Wednesday witnessed the unveiling of the A-list artistes billed to perform at the Star Trek show this year, at the Rhapsody Lounge, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Music fans and Star beer lovers across Nigeria are in for an amazing time on this year’s Star Trek as superstars 2Face, Tiwa Savage, Kcee, will feature at Star Music Trek 2013, spanning 10 weeks and will visit 10 cities across the country – Aba, Abeokuta, Agege (Lagos), Asaba, Enugu, Festac (Lagos), Lokoja, Nnewi, Owerri, Lokoja, Victoria Island, and will kick off on Saturday, June 8.
Star Trek is an annual music show sponsored by Nigerian Breweries, maker of Star Larger Beer. Also in their kitty is the annual Star Mega Jam and music reality show, Star Quest.
A panel of judges was on hand to select the artistes billed to take part in this year’s show. Gideon Okeke of Tinsel drama series fame, anchored the proceedings at the unveiling of the artistes. According to the organiser, the artistes’ sign-on and announcement ceremony officially heralded Star Music Trek 2013.
The event witnessed attendance from celebrities, industry top shots, consumers as well as Nigerian and international media. Other hit makers scheduled to join Star to make it more fun this year are: Timaya, Sound Sultan, Wande Coal, M.I, Seyi Shay, Nato C, Mr. Raw, Ice Prince, Obesere, J Martins, Kas, Phyno, Juke Box, Da Beat, Crystalz, among others.
