Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has hinted at a potential departure from Galatasaray, further fueling speculation of a summer move to Manchester United, as reported by BusinessDay.

BusinessDay on Monday reported that Osimhen’s transfer to Manchester United is “95% completed,” with the club reportedly willing to trigger his €75 million release clause.

Speaking after Galatasaray’s 0-0 draw against Fenerbahce in the Turkish Super Lig, Osimhen was asked about his future, responding with uncertainty.

“Let me be honest, at the moment I don’t know if I will stay at Galatasaray,” Osimhen said as quoted by Tutto Atalanta.

“Until a few months ago, no one imagined I could play here, and many thought I would leave in January.”

“I live in the moment, and I don’t know what will happen in the summer. I love these fans, the club, and the city. It’s a privilege, and I’m enjoying this experience.”

Manchester United Fans Excited About Osimhen’s Potential Arrival

Osimhen, 26-year-old, has been in exceptional form on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, scoring 20 goals and providing five assists in 26 appearances across all competitions.

Osimhen’s comments have ignited excitement among Manchester United fans, who believe his arrival would significantly boost the team’s morale and attacking prowess.

Some fans even argue that Osimhen is “obviously a better player than Rasmus Højlund.”

While PSG, Arsenal, and other top European clubs have also been linked with the Super Eagles star, reports suggest that Man United are now the frontrunners to secure the signature of the Nigerian striker this summer.
