Victor Osimhen scored twice as Galatasaray played out a dramatic 3-3 draw against Kasimpasa in a thrilling Turkish Süper Lig clash at the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Stadium on Sunday.

The Nigerian striker delivered a standout performance, scoring two goals to bring his season tally to 22, with five assists in 28 matches in all competitions, including 16 league goals in 20 appearances.

Osimhen opened the scoring in the 12th minute, calmly converting a penalty to give the visitors an early lead. Galatasaray controlled much of the first half, limiting Kasimpasa’s attacking threat.

However, the game shifted in the second half as the hosts responded strongly. M.B. Ouanes equalized in the 52nd minute with a precise finish before J. Brekalo capitalized on defensive uncertainty to fire Kasimpasa ahead in the 61st minute.

Galatasaray quickly regrouped, with Mario Lemina finding the back of the net in the 69th minute to level the score at 2-2. Barely two minutes later, Osimhen rose above the defenders to head home a cross, restoring Galatasaray’s lead at 3-2.

Just as it seemed that the Yellow and Reds would secure all three points, a stoppage-time penalty awarded to Kasimpasa proved costly. Haris Hajradinovic converted from the spot, ensuring a share of the spoils in an action-packed contest.

Despite the result, Osimhen was a dominant force throughout the game, further solidifying his reputation as one of the league’s most lethal strikers.
