With the World Cup actions going on in Brazil, Brazilian legend Pele has shared his thoughts on the competition.

A man who is no stranger to the legendary status of the occasion, Pele won three World Cups along with numerous individual awards playing as the centerpiece of Brazil’s International domination.

Widely considered by many as the greatest player of all time, Pele believes Spain pose a major threat to Brazil’s World Cup hopes.

“The best team of all time is Brazil, but this Spain team is very good. Their strength is that they have been playing together for eight years; they know each other perfectly and that’s why I think they are the best at the moment.

 “I think that Spain and England are the strongest European teams and the ones who will put up a fight here and in Latin America. In addition to Brazil, I’m going with Chile and Argentina. I think the Chilean side will be the real revelation of this World Cup.”

The 73 year old nevertheless backs his home nation to win the trophy.  “I trust Brazil are going to win the final, it doesn’t matter against who.”
