Napoli are reportedly considering a potential deal with Manchester United involving Rasmus Hojlund as part of an exchange for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.

According to Calciomercato.com, Manchester United are prepared to offer Hojlund in a player-plus-cash proposal for Osimhen. The Danish forward is not expected to be a key part of Ruben Amorim’s plans next season, especially if United sign a high-profile striker.

While Napoli are also interested in Joshua Zirkzee, United are more likely to offer Hojlund, given Zirkzee’s versatility across the attack.

Reports indicate Napoli are closely monitoring the situation, needing to make significant signings to retain Antonio Conte beyond the summer. They are also in advanced talks with Lille for Edon Zhegrova, who has attracted Juventus’ interest.

Manchester United are among several clubs seeking Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray. Napoli’s attempt to sell Osimhen permanently last summer failed, leading to a contract extension and the loan move.

Osimhen’s contract runs until 2026, with Napoli holding an option to extend it to 2027 if a sale doesn’t materialise this summer.
