Premier League champions Manchester City are reportedly close to finalising the signing of Eintracht Frankfurt forward Omar Marmoush, with sources telling the BBC that a verbal agreement has been reached between the clubs. However, the transfer has not yet been officially completed.,
The 25-year-old Egypt international has been in fine form this season, scoring 15 Bundesliga goals. Marmoush joined Eintracht Frankfurt on a free transfer from Wolfsburg in 2023 and has quickly established himself as one of the league’s top forwards.

City are also expected to wrap up the signing of Brazilian teenage defender Vitor Reis, who is set to complete a medical ahead of his move from Palmeiras.
City have also expressed interest in Juventus left-back Andrea Cambiaso. However, club sources caution that discussions for the 24-year-old are not as advanced as reported in Italy, and a January deal is not guaranteed. Cambiaso has made 25 appearances this season, contributing two goals and two assists.
Meanwhile, City have yet to confirm the acquisition of Uzbekistan defender Abdukodir Khusanov, despite agreeing on a £33.6m fee with Lens for the 20-year-old.
Pep Guardiola’s side is ramping up their activity in the January transfer window as they look to strengthen their squad for the second half of the season.
