Manchester City are reportedly set launch a massive £120 million bid to sign Bayern Munich attacker, Jamal Musiala, in the upcoming transfer window.

Man City have been dominant in English football during Pep Guardiola’s side as manager, winning 16 trophies in eight years. But recently they’ve been challenged right to the end of the season by Liverpool in 2021/22, Arsenal last season and both Arsenal and Liverpool this season.

The gap at the top has narrowed and Guardiola is looking to widen the gap by again signing a world-class talent in former Chelsea man Jamal Musiala.

Jamal Musiala, a 21-year-old talent of German origin but raised in England, has emerged as a linchpin for Bayern Munich despite his youth. Renowned for his exceptional dribbling skills, Musiala possesses a knack for manoeuvring through tight spaces, often proving decisive in crucial moments on the field.

With the departure of key players like Riyad Mahrez and Ilkay Gundogan, coupled with Kevin De Bruyne’s injury struggles and advancing age, Guardiola sees the need to inject fresh talent into the squad. Musiala’s versatility as both a midfielder and winger aligns with Guardiola’s vision, offering a potential replacement for ageing stars like De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva.

Securing Musiala’s services won’t come cheap, with Bayern Munich likely to demand a hefty fee in the ballpark of £120 million. This sum would shatter Manchester City’s previous transfer record of £100 million, set with the acquisition of Jack Grealish in the summer of 2021.
