In a crucial league fight for survival, relegation-threatened Luton Town will square up against Premier League champions Manchester City at Kenilworth Road on Sunday afternoon.
The Hatters come into the game on the back of a 4-3 defeat to Arsenal in their recent league game. Centre-back Gabriel Osho, attacker Elijah Adebayo and midfielder Ross Barkley scored the goals for Luton Town.
The Citizens suffered a 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa in their last league game. Jamaican winger Leon Bailey scored the game’s sole goal to seal the deal for Aston Villa.
Luton, the newly promoted side in the Premier League, has not been impressive and is currently 18th in the league, one point behind Everton and has won just one of their last five Premier League games.
Man City are 4th in the league, seven points behind league leaders Liverpool and have gone four games without a win.
City’s four-game winless streak (three draws, one defeat) is their joint-longest under Guardiola in the Premier League, having also gone four without a victory during his first campaign between March and April 2017. Guardiola has never gone five top-flight games without winning as a manager.

Ma City produced arguably their worst performance under Guardiola in last Wednesday’s 1-0 defeat at Villa Park, with their two shots the fewest any team managed by Guardiola has attempted in a top-flight league game.
The Hatters came close to beating Liverpool and drawing with Arsenal at their Kenilworth Road home. And they face the ultimate test against ‘struggling’ European and Premier League champions.
This is the first time Luton Town are playing City in the Premier League, and a win at Kenilworth Road will move the Hatters to 17th position, one spot above Everton.
