Leadway Pensure PFA wins 5-Aside football tourney

  Leadway Pensure has won this year’s edition of the 5 aside football tournament beating Legacy Pensions Managers by one nil.

This year’s match was a clash of big names as four teams under UBA Pensions Custodian Ltd, namely IEI Anchor Pension Managers, Leadway Pensure PFA Limited, Legacy Pensions Managers, Sigma Pensions Limited participated in the annual tournament.

At the end of the very exciting encounter held on Saturday at the Funturf International stadium in Lekki, Leadway Pensure PFA emerged winners. Legacy Pensions Managers placed second, while UBA Pensions Custodian Limited came third. In the Egg and Spoon Race newly introduced into the event as part of excitement for the women folk, UBA Pensions Custodian Limited took first place, ARM Pensions Managers was second while Legacy Pensions Managers placed third.

The Five- Aside tournament is a yearly football competition organized by UBA Pensions Custodians Ltd to encourage employees to cultivate a healthy lifestyle by taking time out to engage in sporting and other recreational activities with their colleagues.
