Alex Iwobi was on target as Fulham secured a hard-fought 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur at Craven Cottage, his fourth Premier League goal of the season.
The victory compounded Tottenham’s dismal 2026 run, stretching their winless streak to 10 league matches, while strengthening Fulham’s push for European qualification.

Fulham started brightly, with Harry Wilson opening the scoring in the seventh minute. Iwobi doubled the lead just before the half-hour mark, finishing calmly to put the hosts firmly in control.
Spurs responded midway through the second half when substitute Richarlison headed home from Archie Gray’s cross to set up a tense finale.
Iwobi nearly turned provider soon after the restart, threading a precise pass to Emile Smith Rowe, whose chipped effort was well saved.
Under manager Marco Silva, Fulham have increasingly leaned on Nigerian influence. Iwobi, Calvin Bassey and January signing Samuel Chukwueze have been central to the club’s mid-season resurgence.
The result lifts Fulham to eighth in the Premier League table on 40 points, level with Everton FC and within touching distance of the UEFA Conference League places.
Fulham will aim to maintain momentum when they host West Ham United on Wednesday, with Iwobi and Bassey expected to play pivotal roles once again.
