Nigeria, others top trading partners for Gulf Cooperation Council

Nigeria’s first wholly Golf Magazine has joined the stream of magazines making waves in the Nigeria print media.

Published by a renowned golf journalist and member of the Nigeria Golf Federation, Pius Anakali, the magazine, he explains, is his own contribution to the development and promotion of the game in Nigeria.

Though this is not the first time the magazine will be hitting the newsstand, the publishers explain that the need to meet the yearnings of high profile golf players necessitated the repackaging of the elite magazine. According to Anakali, the magazine which is actually the fifth in the series, debuted in 2009, but logistical problems, especially in the areas of circulation and the need to improve on the content and quality led to the suspension of the publication.

Now, however, the golf enthusiast says, he is ready to take the publication to new heights, saying an indication of what is to come can be seen in the edition which recently entered the market . The current edition, a 60-page, all-colour magazine would be circulated in major towns of Lagos, Abuja, Ibadan, Benin, Port-Harcourt, Asaba, Kaduna, Calabar, Uyo and all the golf clubs across the country.
