Tyson Fury has been backed to come out of retirement to face Anthony Joshua in a highly anticipated Battle of Britain clash.

The two British heavyweights have had a long-standing rivalry, with fans eager to see them finally settle their differences in the ring.

However, the fight has remained elusive, especially after Fury retired for the fourth time following his second defeat to Oleksandr Usyk.

In January, Team Joshua expressed confidence that Fury could be lured back for the showdown. Now, there’s fresh hope as Turki Alalshikh, Saudi Arabia’s boxing chief, has hinted that the Gypsy King may not be done with the sport just yet.

Speaking to The Stomping Ground, Alalshikh said:
“I want Joshua vs Tyson. I spoke with Fury—not about boxing, just to check on his health and family. But I think he may return. I hope so.”

Joshua, 35, has also reacted to the latest buzz around the fight, calculating a massive £110 million potential payday through pay-per-view sales, gate receipts, and sponsorship deals.

“Fury can have £30m out of that, and I’ll take the rest,” AJ said.

When pressed on whether the fight would finally happen, he remained cautious:

“I’ll be honest, I don’t want to talk about that. It has been going on for a long time. But it would be a great fight.”

With Alalshikh’s influence and Fury’s unpredictable nature, could the Battle of Britain finally become a reality?
