Hansi Flick will remain in the dugout for Barcelona’s high-stakes El Clásico clash against Real Madrid this Sunday, despite the tragic news of his father’s death.
The club announced the loss on Sunday afternoon, sparking a wave of support from across the football world. In a heartfelt statement, Barcelona said:
“FC Barcelona and the entire blaugrana family wish to send all our love to Hansi Flick after the passing of his father. We share in your sorrow, and our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.”
