Bale tips Blues to win Premier League

Real Madrid ace Gareth Bale believes that Chelsea will be able to lift the Premiership once again after waiting for four seasons.

The Blues seem to have regained their status as favourites, enjoying an unblemished record in their three fixtures in the Premier League, after acquiring key additions such as Diego Costa, Cesc Fabregas, and Filipe Luis, which is part of Jose Mourinho’s revolution that started last year.

“I feel Chelsea will win this year,” Bale told BT Sport.

“They’re very strong, so I reckon they’ll do it this year.”

After spending a year in Spain’s capital, the former Tottenham Hotspur standout gave an insight regarding the unique characteristics between the La Liga and England’s top-flight.

“Obviously the Premier League’s very, very good, and Spain’s very good, but it’s slightly different I think,” he added.

“If you’ve been playing in the Premier League and you go to Spain you can learn a new type of football, and different things about your play that maybe you wouldn’t learn if you just stayed in the Premier League.”

“For me I think it’s enhanced my play, it’s made me a better player and made me learn more about football which is only a positive.”
