Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing former Everton striker Moise Kean from Fiorentina this summer, according to Italian media outlet Tuttosport.
This news comes as the Gunners also grapple with rumours of William Saliba’s potential move to Real Madrid.
Following Gabriel Jesus’s injury, Arsenal’s January striker search saw them linked to Matheus Cunha and Ollie Watkins.
Fraser Fletcher has reported that Arsenal will prioritize a big-name striker signing in the summer. Alexander Isak is reportedly Mikel Arteta’s top target, with Benjamin Sesko also of interest.
Now, Moise Kean has emerged as a potential target. Tuttosport reports Arsenal’s “great interest” in the Fiorentina striker, noting his €52million (£43.3m / $53.6m) release clause. Calciomercato also confirms Arsenal’s “concrete” interest in the 24-year-old.
Kean, who struggled at Everton, has been in excellent form for Fiorentina this season, scoring 19 goals and providing two assists in 29 appearances. His career tally stands at 109 goals and 13 assists in 313 matches.
While the Kean interest is encouraging for Arsenal fans, the club faces a potential blow with reports that Saliba is open to a summer transfer to Real Madrid.
