Rensource Deploys Carport Solar Energy for Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria

On May 2nd, 2024, Rensource Energy, Africa’s fastest growing solar power provider for the Commercial and Industrial Sector (C&I) made public its installation of a 300kWp carport solar energy for Institute of Human Virology Nigeria (“IHVN”). The aim of the installation is to reduce their dependency on the grid and diesel while providing a clean, affordable, and reliable source of power.

The solar energy installation would generate 436MWh annually and offset 4,293 metric tonnes of CO2 over the project’s lifetime. This installation also contributes to the advancement of the net zero target by 2050.

They deployed a unique technology into our facility, the finish was excellent in terms of the quality of product used and the actual installation. The Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria (“IHVN”) is a non-governmental organization established in 2004 to address the HIV/AIDS crisis in Nigeria by developing infrastructure for treatment, care, prevention, and support for people living with and those affected with HIV/AIDS.
