The chatbot— the first of its kind in the managed care space—is available 24/7 on WhatsApp.
According to company representatives, Ava is equipped to help both existing subscribers and potential members with day-to-day requests such as purchasing or renewing health plans, confirming member IDs, verifying primary healthcare providers, and checking health plan benefits. In addition, subscribers can verify their dependents’ IDs, request drug refills, and access many other features specifically designed to simplify their healthcare experience.
