Munch It a Nigerian corn snack product has been awarded Nigerian consumer choice brand for 2019 at the West Africa, Advertisers Association of Nigeria (ADVAN) Awards for Marketing Excellence held in Lagos.
The newly introduced brand by Kelloggs Tolaram also emerged third position in the product packaging category, contending against other brands such as Brytex and Heineken nominated under this group. Also, under the most celebrated award category- brand of the year award, Munch It came up third place, being nominated alongside other big brands such as Airtel and Molfix.
While receiving the award, Darlington Igabali, Marketing Manager, Munch It, said the award is a tastement of how much work the company has put in before the brand was introduced to Nigerian consumers.
“It is such a great feeling attracting such recognition and accolades from consumers in just one year of the brand’s presence in the Nigerian marketing landscape, this clearly shows that hard work pays and we are hitting the right spot in the heart of consumers” he stated.
“This award, again got to show Nigerian consumers are yawning for products that not only meet their taste but also with quality, and this what as a company we strive daily to satisfy Nigerian consumers expectations.”
For Bunmi Adeniba, president of ADVAN while congratulating recipients of all the awards described Munch it awards and others as evidence that Nigerians are willingly to associate themselves with brands that meet their cravings.
