Haven Homes, a leading lifestyle real estate developer, has explained why Wode Maya, a popular Ghanaian YouTuber, was recognized in its newly completed Richmond Pearl Estate.

The company, in a statement signed by Ufuoma Ilessanmi, the managing director, gave reasons to justify why a street was named after that Ghanaian national in the estate.

“At Haven Homes, we celebrate those who shape Africa’s story and Wode Maya has done just that. Through his lenses, the world sees Africa’s excellence—our entrepreneurs and boundless potential,” the managing director said.

She recalled that “in 2021, during a visit to our Richmond Gate Estate, Maya jokingly wished for a street to be named after him. He was inspired by the names of other icons on our roads. Today we unveil him as a tribute to a storyteller who expected nothing but gave everything.

This is more than just a name on a sign; it’s a symbol of gratitude kept and a proof that hard work never goes unnoticed. At Haven Homes, we don’t just build luxury living spaces, but also build relationships,” Ilessanmi noted.

She added that the company also has a legacy of keeping its word, pointing out that just as they honoured this promise, they have also delivered about 200 housing units in Phase 1 of their just completed Richmond Pearl Estate without any variation from the contracted prices since 2020.

Haven Homes is known for its commitment to promises made to every client who entrusts it with their dreams, assuring Wode Maya and every dreamer out that the honour should be a reminder that their voice matters.

“Your work is seen and, sometimes, the universe listens. Join us in celebrating this incredible moment,” Ilesanmi enthused
