Tinubu yet to arrive at convention venue

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has not yet arrived at the Eagles Square, the venue for the APC national convention.

The President was expected to arrive by 5:45 pm, according to the event’s schedule, and is anticipated to be accompanied by Vice President Kashim Shettima, in gracing the occasion.

Party officials told our correspondent that Tinubu’s arrival will signal the formal commencement of the convention.

However, several APC governors, including Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos and Usman Ahmed Ododo of Kogi State, have already arrived and are seated.

Also present are Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo, and other top government officials, all awaiting the President’s arrival.
