There is palpable tension in the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as two National Secretaries are currently attending the Board of Trustees (BOT) meeting.
The development has created fears as as Samuel Anyanwu and Sunday Udeokoye, lay claims to the position of the National Secretary
The position has been a bone of contention since Samuel Anyanwu won the PDP Governorship primaries to contest for the Imo Governorship election.

In his absence, the South-East Stakeholders met in Enugu and adopted Sunday Ude-Okoye as National Secretary.
But after losing the election, effort by Samuel Anyanwu to come back to his position has been an issue of litigation.
Thugs loyal to the Anyanwu, however, forced Ude-Okoye out of the meeting leading to altercations.
As at the time of this report, Ude-Okoye was seen shouting and urging his men to come inside and stop his ejection.

Recall that Anyanwu had met with the South-East stakeholder yesterday ahead of today’s meeting to frustrate Ude-Okoye who was still outside the meeting while Anyanwu occupied the Secretary’s position.
