…”Exercise patience” – state chairman

The All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election for House of Representatives held last weekend in Anambra State has continued to raise dust.

The official results had yet to be announced several days after the primaries, and the situation has thrown both expected winners and losers into confusion.

Already, the Appeal Panel to look into petitions and objections has gone to the Abuja headquarters of the party.

Sen. Emma Anosike, State Chairman of the party told our Correspondent on Thursday that he had no hand in the delays of the primary result.

According to him, the powers to release such result rest with the national headquarters of the party.

Anosike urged the aspirants to exercise patience and allow the party to handle the matter for the benefit of all concerns.

Kingsley Ezekwelu who asserted that he recorded a sweeping victory across all the electoral Wards in Idemili Federal Constituency has disclosed that the welfare of the electorates was his watchword as he prepares to also sweep the stakes at the main poll later in the year.

He said that the nation and her citizens must be salvaged from the pervading decadence.

He noted that his earlier consultation tours opened his eyes and ears more appreciate the level of challenges in the land. But sadly most of those currently in authority carry on as if all is well.

“My Idemili Federal Constituency comprising seventeen very sizable communities consequently showed high level enthusiasm by coming out enmasse to vote for me…

I am therefore committed to wiping their tears and lifting them out of the political doldrum they currently were neglected in.

“All economic, political and social difficulties should become history when I step into the hallowed chamber of the national Assembly soon.”

He reminded voters to bear in mind that All Progressives Congress remains the ruling party, hence an articulate politician do his homework well to position himself in winning ways to enable his people benefit well.
