Governor-elect of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has pledged to run and inclusive government where every resident of the state, irrespective of party affiliation, would have a stake.
Sanwo-Olu who was elected on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), stated this Friday while receiving his certificate of returns at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Lagos office in Yaba, noting that his administration would deliver good governance and make life better for residents of the state.
“The government would be for everybody, there would be positive development, and everybody would have a stake in this administration. We thank everyone, members, and party leaders for the victory,” he said.
“Our victory is for everybody, we would strive to run an inclusive government because we know, if you get it right in Lagos, you get it right in the whole country,” Sanwo-Olu said.
The Governor-elect who was companied by his Deputy, Femi Hamzat , who also received his certificate of return, thanked Lagosians and members of the party for the support towards his electoral victory.
He further sought the support of candidates of other political parties who took part in the governorship election towards the success of his administration.
