Fubara, in a statement on Tuesday, said the defection signals the emergence of a united and strategic political front in Rivers State, as well as reflects visible transformation under President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

The governor formally welcomed members of the National Assembly described their decision to defect as courageous, principled, and forward looking.

He noted that the lawmakers’ action represents a bold demonstration of commitment to the collective progress of Rivers State and Nigeria as a whole.

He reaffirmed his unwavering resolve to deliver victory for President Tinubu in the 2027 General Elections and called on all well-meaning people of Rivers State to join the APC in ushering in a new era of progressive politics, peace, stability, and unprecedented prosperity.
