The Lagos State Secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was a beehive of activity on Wednesday as party supporters danced their way into the hearts and minds of onlookers and commuters.
Hakeem Olalemi, vice chairman of the Lagos central PDP, led members of the executive committee of the state chapter of the party and executives of the state chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) to welcome the Arewa community and other interest groups at the secretariat.

Supporters and card-carrying members of the party from the 20 local government areas of the state were well represented, as musicians, instrumentalists, and jubilant fans were seen thrilling attendees and commuters caught up in the slow-moving traffic.
Olalemi used the opportunity to apologise for the absence of some of the candidates, as they were busy rounding up their campaign activities.
He also urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) not to use Mc Oluomo to distribute election materials for the elections this Saturday and March 11.
