Bayo Onanuga, Presidential aide has mocked Atiku Abubakar, former Vice President, saying with the implosion in the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and defection of his allies from the party his political future was bleak.

On Wednesday Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, announced his defection from the PDP to the All Progressives Congress (APC), also Ifeanyi Okowa, former Delta governor, and Atiku’s running mate vice in the 2023 presidential election dump the PDP.

Atiku is masterminding a coalition to unseat President Tinubu in 2027.

But in a post on his X page, Onanuga stated that with the defection Okowa, and the Delta Governor from the PDP, Atiku’s proposed coalition which includes a former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, ex-SGF Babachir Lawal, and Labour Party’s vice presidential candidate, Yusuf Baba-Ahmed was dead and would not become a reality.
