The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Lagos State says certificates of return will be presented to the forty elected lawmakers of the Lagos State House of Assembly on 5th April.

Sam Olumekun the state Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), stated this in a statement to journalists Wednesday, stressing that the commission had finalised modalities and preparation for the event.

Olumekun further said that the event would hold at INEC Lagos office, at 6 Birrel Avenue, Sabo, Yaba, by 10a.m.

All the forty lawmakers elected in the March 9 House of Assembly elections, are from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

No fewer than 640 candidates from different political parties participated in the House of Assembly elections.
