“The platform of the PDP has been instrumental in shaping my political journey and has provided me with the privilege to contribute meaningfully to the development of our dear state and the nation.
According to the latter, “After careful reflection and wide consultations, I am compelled to take this step due to the lingering crisis within the party. The current situation, which has left the party without clear and cohesive leadership, poses significant challenges to the political aspirations, stability, and progress of its members.
“It is my firm belief that, under such circumstances, continuing my membership may not allow me to effectively pursue my political objectives and aspirations to the best of my ability in future opportunities.”
