The National Committee overseeing the State House of Assembly primary elections of the All Progressives Congress has expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the ongoing exercise in Adamawa State.
Chairman of the committee, Innocent Barikor, gave the commendation on Wednesday while monitoring the exercise in Yola North, Yola South, and Girei Local Government Areas.
Barikor described the process as peaceful and orderly, urging party members and residents to elect credible candidates who would effectively represent their constituencies in the State House of Assembly.
He also called on the people to continue supporting the government in order to achieve sustainable development in line with the transformation agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“I am very excited about what I have seen today. Nigerians are yearning for positive change, and the APC remains committed to delivering good governance,” he said.
The committee chairman further noted that election materials were successfully distributed across the state, while commending the leadership of the APC in Adamawa, led by Alhaji Hamza Madagali, for the arrangements put in place to ensure a smooth and successful exercise.
