The All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended the sale of its expression of interest and nomination forms for the 2027 general election to Monday.

The ruling party announced that the exercise, initially scheduled to end on Saturday, May 2, will now close on Monday, May 4, 2026.

It also shifted the deadline for submission of completed forms from Saturday to Tuesday, May 5, while screening of aspirants will now hold on Wednesday, May 6.

Duro Meseko, the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the party, disclosed the development on Thursday during a press briefing at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja.

According to him, the extension became necessary due to the public holiday declared for Friday, which affected the initial timetable.

“The National Working Committee (NWC), met and took some decisions. I wish to announce that the sale of nomination forms, which was to end on Saturday, May 2, 2026, now ends on Monday, May 4.,” he said.
