Wondering where to spend your valentine? The cinema is indeed a place to be this valentine with your loved ones, family and friends and one fantastic movie to enjoy is Ride Along 2.
I recently saw Ride along 2 and I must confess that indeed my expectations were surpassed. It is a comedy about a man trying so hard to please and impress his soon to be brother in-law, to prove that he is a real Corp. As his wedding approaches, Ben (Kevin Hart) heads to Miami with his soon to be brother in-law to bring to the books a big drug baron who’s supplying the dealers of Atlanta with products. The funny truth was that he wasn’t appointed to go for this last assignment, along the line, he gets to go, initially it looked like he was going to mess the whole mission up, but luckily it turned out to be a huge success.
The movie is filled with funny, amazing and hilarious actors like Kevin Hart, Ice Cube, Tika Sumpter and Glen Powell. Kevin Hart was at his best again in this movie he made every scene absolutely hilarious. Ice Cube was also amazing with his so called ‘serious minded act’; he still made comments that made everyone laugh out loud in the cinema. Tika Sumpter as the bride to be was also very hilarious. The casting for the movie was perfect, the scenes, video quality, coordination and arrangement. I was very happy and impressed with the movie.
The movie started with an action packed scene of how Ben and James were supposed to bring a gang down and Ben as usual caused a serious unnecessary fight that should have been an easy take for them. It did go well but he was asked to go off the case. It was almost impossible not to get fascinated by the movie as the movie was so funny that everyone laughed from the very first scene till the movie was over. You just couldn’t but help wanting to see the next scene and a lot of people were almost rolling on the floor with utmost amazement of the hilarious acts of Ben.
I will say that they saved the best for the last and the wedding scene at the end was the back breaking point and melt down of the movie, we sure didn’t want the fun to come to an end, because even when it was over, no one wanted to leave the theatre.
Finally I must confess that I really love this movie, everything seems perfect and well coordinated. It sure ended well and every scene was very funny, the movie was spell bound as no one knew what was coming next, on many occasions when you expected Ben to create a good impression, he just ends up messing the whole thing all over again, sending you into unavoidable fits of laughter.
Overall I must say this is a great movie to watch, make you laugh so hard and keep you in a relaxed mood. If you are looking for a relaxing and hysterical movie, then this is definitely the movie to see this week. For my rating I will rate it 10/10.
