The presidential election petition tribunal has set May 30, to begin hearing after pre-hearing concludes today.
Justice Haruna Tsammani, leading the five-man panel of judges said this while presenting the pre-hearing on Peter Obi’s petition, Tuesday.
To set the stage for the hearing, the court has given Obi and the Labour Party three weeks to present their case. The team had asked for seven weeks but the presiding judge, Haruna Tsamanni said that was too long.
Also, the court has ordered all the parties to consolidate their petitions since they all come from the same election.
