FIDA International Convention 2017 rounded up with its Business Meeting which Featured amendments to the FIDA International Constitution, the election of new international officers, as well as regional as well as country reports. It was a session of motions and adoptions. The reports from Nigeria were delivered by Inime Aguma, FIDA Nigeria Country Vice President – this had an impressive record of excellence from al FIDA branches in Nigeria.

The Convention ended on a note of celebration as FIDA Nigeria members made it to the newly formed FIDA International Council. Chief Victoria Awomolo, SAN emerged, Regional President (Africa), Ezinwa Okoroafor, International Secretary and Hauwa Shekarau as FIDA United Nations (UN) Rep. The Presidency was clinched by FIDA, Switzerland.
