ALAN hosts her first Pan-African Conference on Mergers and Strategic Alliances

The Association of Law Firm Administrators, Nigeria (ALAN) in conjunction with the NBA Section on Business Law (NBA SBL), hosted her first pan-African Managing Partner Roundtable on Thursday,11th July at Four Points by Sheraton, Victoria Island.

The Managing Partner Roundtable (MPR) is an annual event which in its third year, has become the flagship event of the Association; convening Managing Partners, C-Suite professionals, and Managing Associates in the legal profession to discuss profitable growth strategies for their firms, given all the changes in the global business environment. This year’s focus was on the importance of strategic partnerships in navigating complex legal challenges and fostering sustainable growth in a rapidly changing world. The keynote address was given by Mr. Femi Lijadu, Partner at Ukiri & Lijadu law firm and the session was moderated by Dr. Babatunde Ajibade (SAN), Managing Partner, S.P. Ajibade & Co. Other panelists at the MPR, included Mr. Aniekan Ukpanah, Managing Partner, UUBO, Ms. Solape Peters, Partner, DLA Piper Africa (Nigeria), Ms. Atinuke Odofin, Managing Partner, ALP NG & Co., Mr. Adeleke Alex-Adedipe, Managing Partner, Duale, Ovia and Alex-Adedipe, Mr. Oladele Oladunjoye, Managing Partner, Greychapel Legal and Ms. Rosa Nduati-Mutero, Managing Partner, ALN Kenya.

ALAN, which was founded in 2008, as an affiliate of the Illinois Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA), USA is a professional association that exists to provide support and enhance the development of professionals responsible for the operational management of law firms, corporate legal departments, and government legal agencies. In fulfillment of its objectives since its inception, ALAN organizes learning forums, seminars, capacity building, and networking events for law firm managers, partners, and lawyers.
