President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Temitola Adekunle-Johnson as Special Adviser on Job Creation & MSMEs and Uju Anwuka as Senior Special Assistant on Public Health, both in the Office of the Vice President according to a press statement signed by Stanley Nkwocha, Senior Special Assistant to The President on Media & Communications (Office of The Vice President) on Wednesday.
Before their new roles, Adekunle-Johnson and Anwuka had already been actively involved in similar capacities. Adekunle-Johnson, previously serving as Senior Special Assistant, has been instrumental in shaping policies aimed at boosting employment and supporting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Nigeria. He played a key role in initiatives such as the Expanded National MSME Clinics and the Shared Facility Initiative, which have provided critical support to small businesses across the country the statement said.

Anwuka, formerly a Special Assistant to the President, has been at the forefront of efforts to tackle malnutrition and food insecurity, especially in vulnerable communities. One of the major initiatives under her watch is the recently launched Nutrition 774 Initiative, aimed at improving public health nationwide.
With these latest appointments, both officials are expected to deepen their impact in their respective sectors, ensuring that the administration’s policies translate into tangible benefits for Nigerians. Their appointments take immediate effect, the statement concluded.
