Kayode Adegbite, Managing Director of Konfam FM has said that the station would give voice to communities and grassroots in Lagos and beyond.

Adegbite, said the airwaves was about to get livelier, bolder and more engaging as the station comes on live.

He stated this at the official launch of Konfam 89.5FM, a new radio station broadcasting in pidgin, bringing on board a community-centric flair in Ikosi-Ketu.

He stated that the main focus is on community, culture, and authenticity, as it offers a fresh voice to Lagos, bringing high-quality content in pidgin that reflects the city’s vibrant and diverse spirit.

He stated that the programming blends entertainment, news, and talk shows in a way that speaks directly to the everyday Lagosian.

The official launch of Konfam FM brought together industry leaders, media professionals, celebrities, and key stakeholders.

According to Adegbite, the event marks the beginning of a new chapter in Lagos radio, one that prioritizes community involvement and cultural celebration.

He added that the station’s carefully curated lineup features seasoned On-Air Personalities (OAPs) alongside rising stars, ensuring a dynamic mix of content that includes music, sports, talk shows, lifestyle programming, and more.

“All content is delivered in Pidgin, making Konfam FM a station that truly understands the people and speaks their language.
