TwinsFaja Group of Companies has launched its inaugural mentorship program to empower career drive individuals and operators of small businesses.
The mentorship programme aimed to train 20 selected individuals on skills needed in the 21st century workplace and business operators on scaling their businesses.
The program will feature physical training and guidance sessions, as well as field trips, to equip mentees with the necessary skills to succeed in Nigeria’s challenging economy.
Kemi Fajana JP, chief executive of TwinsFaja reiterated her organisation’s commitment in giving beackt o the younger generation through knowledge, practical experience, financial management, business leadership, and more.
According to her, the mentorship program will cover various areas, including training on commercialization of social media, sales and marketing, CV writing, and job interview techniques among others.
Top management staff from the organisation will share their struggles and success stories, providing valuable insights to the mentees, she noted.
“By mentoring the next generation of successful individuals in business and career, this project contributes significantly to national development,” she said.
“The program aims to produce individuals who will train, mentor, and hire the next generation of youths, creating a ripple effect of growth and development,” she added.
Fajana emphasised the need for government support for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) through grants, making it easier for business owners to thrive.
During the unveiling, she shared her startup story, inspiring mentees with lessons on resilience, hard work, delayed gratification, reinvesting in business, money management, and the importance of faith.
