Tribunal adjourns APM’s petition against Tinubu to Thursday

The Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal, sitting at the Court of Appeal in Abuja has adjourned the petition by the Allied Peoples Movement (APM)challenging the 2023 presidential election to Thursday, 11th May 2023.

Justice Haruna Tsammani,  directed the party and all respondents in the petition to identify major issues for consideration ahead of the hearing. This is basically to avoid duplication and unnecessary waste of time.

The petition by APM has the All Progressives Congress,  the Independent National Electoral Commission,  Bola Tinubu,  Kashim Shettima, and one Kabiru Masari as respondents.

Justice Tsammani asked the parties to also considers responses they will be objecting to and those they will not be objecting to, as well issues to be determined for the tribunal’s consideration.

He also directed that the responses should  be filed  during the hearing session.
