Tinubu’s associates meet Bode George in Lagos

Tinubu to varsity unions: Poor work ethics, strikes depreciate academic quality

The political associates of President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Saturday night, held a meeting with Olabode George, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader in Lagos State.

This was disclosed by a source close to the PDP leader. The source said that the meeting with George who is a known critic of Tinubu, came as a surprise to the political family of the PDP leader.

It was gathered that the delegation was led by Tajudeen Olusi, the chairman of the Governor Advisory Council (GAC), the highest decision- making body of the ruling party in Lagos, founded by Tinubu.

Femi Gbajabiamila, the speaker of the House of Representatives, who was said to be a part of the delegation, arrived at the meeting late. The closed-door meeting with George was held in his office in Ikoyi.

Asides Olusi, those in attendance were Adejoke Orelope Adefulire, a former Lagos deputy governor; Ishola Olorunimbe, a retired justice; Abiodun Ogunleye, a former deputy governor; Layi Ogunbambi, the Odofin of Lagos, and Satari Arileshere, a retired civil servant in the state.
