President Bola Tinubu has sent the 2024-2026 Medium Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper to the Senate for approval.
The documents were forwarded for consideration and approval, accompanied by a letter that was read during plenary by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.

Tinubu urged the upper chamber to grant the documents expeditious approval to finalise the 2024 budget. The documents were then referred to the Committee on Finance, Appropriation, National Planning, Local and Foreign Debts for immediate consideration.
