President Bola Tinubu has taken steps to bolster the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) leadership by announcing the appointment of board members and a management team.
Ajuri Ngelale, the presidential spokesperson, conveyed this development on Tuesday.
Chiedu Ebie has been designated the board’s chairman, assuming a pivotal role within the commission.
Concurrently, Samuel Ogbuku has been appointed the managing director and chief executive officer (CEO), signalling significant changes in the commission’s organisational structure.
In an official communication on Tuesday, Ajuri Ngelale, the spokesperson for the Presidency, conveyed this announcement.
The stipulated appointments are now in active operation, as articulated in the statement.
