There is tight security at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) in Lagos Island ahead of the commencement of proceedings for the inauguration of Babajide Sanwo-Olu for second term.

All entrances into the the TBS premises is guarded by feirce looking security officials.

However, despite the early morning rain, Lagosians have turned out in large numbers to witness his inauguration.

Governor Sanwo-Olu who was candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) defeated several other candidates to emerge victorious in the March 18 gubernatorial election.
