Suru Group rebrands to Haldane McCall to attain corporate objective

‘Listing puts a company on the global map’

Determined to achieve its corporate objective of listing on the Nigerian Stock Exchange, the management of Suru Group Limited, the coordinating brand for Suru Homes and Suru Express has changed its company name to Haldane McCall PLC.

Edward Akinlade, chief executive officer of the company, said that Haldane McCall PLC has come to replace the former brand and be listed.

According to him, the brand would continue to keep its reliable corporate integrity, but will now operate under the umbrella of Haldane McCall PLC.

Akinlade, who doubles as a real estate guru, said that Suru Homes Limited has helped in developing luxury residential properties, low-cost housing in choice locations in Nigeria, and chains of function halls.

He said the company has expanded its scope of operations by launching serviced apartments for letting.

“Haldane McCall PLC is set to take over from Suru Group Limited. We wanted to have a position on the Nigerian Stock Exchange. So, the process is ongoing with the new name. Under Haldane McCall PLC, we will have our two businesses, Suru Express and Suru Homes. After we get listed on the stock exchange, we can access more funds and bring more investors into the system,” he said.

Akinlade said the company has grown to become the most preferred and proactive real estate company in Africa offering exceptional products and services to its customers.

Akinlade is well experienced in the identification of excellent property locations and development internationally and locally. With his wealth of experience in Property Finance and Trading, the company has pioneered the development of upscale cooperative development of luxury terraced housing units in the Nigerian market and abroad.
